Core Values

As The Prayer House is developing and growing, it's important to identify an ethos and set of core values that will guide all teaching and ministry. Although there are many important values not mentioned on this list, these are the eight core values we've identified as central to the message of The Prayer House.
The Prayer House
8 Core Values
Hunger and Desperation for God’s Presence

1. Intimacy with God (Matthew 22:37, Psalm 27:4)
We believe that the Great Commandment must be restored in order to fulfill the Great Commission.
2. Faithfulness and Perseverance (John 15)
We believe that Biblical love for God must endure and persevere.
3. Holiness (Hebrews 12:14, Luke 14:33)
We believe one must be willing to forsake everything in order to be a follower of Jesus.
4. Humility (John 3:30, Isaiah 53)

We believe that followers of Jesus must value God, His purposes and others above themselves.
5. Uniting the Body of Christ in Prayer (John 17:20-23, 2 Chron. 7:14)
We believe that as the Body of Christ comes together in humility, prayer, seeking His face, and turning from our evil ways, then God will come to transform our land.
6. Naturally Supernatural (John 14:12, Acts 2:17-18, Acts 1:8)

We believe that the power of God is available for every believer and accessible in everyday life.
7. Intercessory Prayer (Luke 18, 2 Chronicles 7:14)

We believe that God chooses to use the prayers of His people to change the course of history.
8. Community of Prayer (Book of Acts, 1 Timothy 2:8)

We believe that major moves of God are birthed from prayer-saturated and mission-minded communities.
